I’ll add part number in the morning. Can also tune using TunerPro and HP Tuners to enable electric fans, and modify torque management control settings to boost performance.

What is the part number or description pls?
Might not want to do it like this...... It's way easier to just remove the steering column and then change the bushing - watch this video: ruclips.net/video/fmSss-shcKY/видео.html .... Yes, it can be done without removing the steering column but it is VERY difficult working in a super tight space as shown here. For my 2003 suburban all I had to do was 5 things: 1) remove dash trim and HVAC duct to get out of way, 2) remove shield under column (4 nuts), 3) unplug connections, 4) unbolt from shaft, 5) unbolt from firewall frame (4 nuts). With proper extensions all nuts super easy to get to except the shaft which is not too bad. Once column out super easy to change out bushing. REMEMBER - since you are putting it back in, before you remove shaft-bolt duct tape the steering wheel to the column and don't hold it by the steering wheel while your removing so that you don't spin it while out - spinning can damage the spring inside... here the link again ruclips.net/video/fmSss-shcKY/видео.html
Don't give a name of the part for show how to disassemble. Real helpful 😅
I have all of the relay wires in the fuse box but don’t see the harness under the truck. That’s perplexing. It didn’t come with fogs.
good stuff man. im thinking about trying to add GM OEM tpms to a dually. it may not be possible, but this was a lot of good info for context
You never say what pin goes in the blue side … not very helpful
Can’t get my tech 2 to enable. I hit enable and the as I exit the command state returns to OFF.
There link doesn't let me purchase one :(😢
I know I'm late to the dance, but thanks! I am going to do this myself and had already ordered the PDM when I encountered your videos. It's good to see the final result!
So hypothetically, a 03 silverado ss with dual digital cluster (dic and gears) just needs the passenger door control module, tire tpms sensors and tech2 to turn on the system?
Anybody who's doing it right now here and 2024 You have to keep tapping on it with whatever you can tap on it with and it'll slowly go back up in there. He's right, they're right, it is a bear but it can be done. Lot of satisfaction when it's all done with and relief.
I'm sure by now after 6 years you have that fixed. But the reason it was making noise and rattling is because the old one was it long agated and the hole was certainly bigger than the new one. I've done a few of them I have a fleet of '07 Chevys and they all end up rattling.
I'm reading this in 2/2024. My old 2005 Hondal Accord EXL-V6 Navi now used by my son has the same 'check disc' issue. I was wondering what Alpine does to fix this problem. That's when I found your video. I will try this as on my car, the fan controls and audio stations are on the same screen. I don't care about the nav any more, but do want to get the screen back. I'm gald I found your video. Thanks for posting this.
This is somewhat, what I'm looking for. Everything installed and tires are learned to the system. However, my DIC does not show anything for pressures. It tells me it's there.. is there a setting for the dic I'm missing to enable it to display? I can read the pressure from the module and it did tell me before tires learned it needed service
Awesome video, best one out there by far. Just did this in my driveway, 35 minutes including tool cleanup. Thanks man!
Can you point me to where you found a working version to use with VCX SE?
Jeremy, not sure if DDM is also involved, but I updated both PDM and DDM with TIS2000. when it asks what mirror type, i used use the calibrations for power fold mirrors, as thats what I installed. individual pressure show on an 06 cluster
Should of spent less time filming yourself doing the sumo squat and more time filming your snap on verus upgrades, still waiting on the install video you promised four years ago .
So basically, the bearing is the only part i need then? I've got that annoying clunk as well and thought it might be the steering shaft also
Wow Jeremy , thaaanks , i did not know it was that easy ! i have a 2003 Silverado and the steering does a clunk just Like that too , its kind of annoying , what brand company of bearing did you use ? thanks again !
Could this be the same for a Chevy avalanche to? Mine rattles all day 🤣
Hi Jeremy. Can you post the items you purchased for the verus and ware to get the items I appreciate sir
So where did you get the new part from
Did this job last weekend on my 04 Sierra 1500 4x4 Not sure why you had to take so much stuff apart; I only removed the gas pedal and disconnected the intermediate shaft at base of column from inside the truck. The intermediate shaft slides down to give enough clearance (barely) to get the old bearing assy out and the new one in. I didn't remove my lower dash trim or anything. I did, however, use my seat belt looped through the steering wheel as my truck no longer has working steering column lock (thank you, Albuquerque crackhead thieves for breaking it while attempting to steal the truck)
Thank you
Did your mpg improve and how much your average?
Where can we get the newer one?
Cool retrofit, going to try to retrofit passkey 3+ immobilizer onto a gmt 800. Its been done before, but the person never said how they did it.
Were you able to do it?
Might just be the harness. But I thought green when to blue and blue went to green
Hi, any idea where is located the tpms module on my 2019 silverado custom ?
Nice truck
Just opened up my Nav Drive and confirmed that DV36M110 is the same part number for my 08 TSX as well. Thanks!
I just installed mine, dose it have to be from a Escalade? Do you have the part number? Mine is working, just not showing the individual pressure on the DIC.
Get you a Rock Form phone case with built in magnets for help holding phone while working and making videos
Anyone know the name of the part
What wiring harness did you buy that plugged into that switch ?
This was a great help.
Great lift man. What's the logic behind the band on the knees? Is it just a physical cue to shove your knees out?
Too bad you didn't use a stand for your camera.
curious, what reason does alpine replace the drive for? i have a customers vehicle that the screen doesn't work, he requested me to replace the control panel with a part he supplied, it did the same thing...at the time i didn't have any diagnostic tools with me other than a test light...it was supposed to be a quick favor lol. all powers and grounds are good on both the panel and the GPS unit and my alldata and identix both show a wiring color discrepancy...they just didn't match what i have. I opened up the module to see if there was anything obvious like a blown component or water intrusion, everything looked ok...wondering if you can assist with a proper wiring diagram or any suggestions. i might be able to get the car back next week to throw my scope on the data lines but im kinda just looking for information at this point.
Really good information thank you I have a 2005 that noise drives me nuts going to be fixing on that soon
As a public service and to protect hard working American citizens from getting ripped-off, you should be warning people to not make the mistake I made getting talked into a new McLane Mower. WHY? Because the 2022-2023 McLane Reel Mowers that they charge $2700.00 for are quite simply, poorly assembled, overpriced junk, assembled hastily and incorrectly, built using sub standard quality parts. YOU CAN EXPECT THIS IN ONE SEASON OF USE: Misalignment issues, Annoying Rattles and Vibration Noises at different RPM's, Rust spots, chipping paint, and Metal Fatigue cracks from Bad welding (that is painted over at the factory), and delivered to customers. The only Guaranty that you can count on is you'll have Multiple Failures on several vital safety covers, shields and critical support parts within its first season. And that's even if it's only for single residential use ! HORRIBLE Customer Service Support. 💩 BUYER BEWARE !! AVOID McLane Lawn & Garden Equipment. They give "Made In America" such a bad reputation they'll make you wish you'd bought a better product "Made In China" instead !🤬 Simply put; McLane Lawn Equipment company doesn't honor their warranty or agreements to back up what they sell. Their verbal agreements are worthless and they lack ethical business standards. There's no integrity in any department in the company, and they have no honor or shame as they sell out piss-poor lawnmowers to unsuspecting customers. These $2400 mowers are not worth $200. McLane is a GARBAGE Company. They are owned and managed by Lying, Thieving, Morons, and their mowers are assembled inept hacks who couldn't care less that they are producing trash products. I WILL PROVIDE PICTURES AND DOCUMENTATION IF IT HELPS PROVE THAT I'M STATING THE TRUTH. I HOPE I CAN SAVE PEOPLE FROM BECOMING VICTIMS OF McLane Edgers and Mowers.
You change the radiator too?
Would you able to turn on the heated seat function with this device
That runs through the body control module you would need to get the rpo code added in through Acdelco tech support but it’s definitely possible
Hey man, hoping you can help me out here. I'm trying to add Tpms to my 04 1500. It came factory with SWC and the dual digital DIC. I swapped the passenger door module for a junkyard unit with the proper rpo codes and the tire pressure light and "service tire pressure system" now come on the dash. Problem is I can't get the system into learn mode for the new sensors, nor can I see individual pressures on the display. Any thoughts?
I'm working through this process myself in my 2005 1500 w/ dual digital gauge and factory SWC. I bought 1 module at a junkyard and when plugged in would get no tire light or check tire pressure message on my DIC like shown in the previous videos. I could not even get it to switch to the "tire sensor" menu either. After looking through a few other posts I found a different module PN to try, 10398572. Plugging this module in let me get the "tire sensor" menu option and display all the old sensor data, which is 0 psi. However, I still have no low tire light or check tire pressure message on my DIC. I am waiting for some new tire sensors to program to the module and once that happens, hoping it will trigger a low tire light or check tire message. Won't do me any good if when one goes low it doesn't show on the dash and I would have to scroll through 4 sensors constantly to monitor them.
Haha I hate doing this, I've had to do it twice and going on a third time here shortly. Major pain in the butt to He-Man the new bearing back in.
Where were the stock fog light wiring harnesses located on each side?
You should delete this video so no body learns to do this the WRONG way. There are a dozen other videos completing this project that are done correctly. Your advice is going to cost someone time and money.
Pretty much agree with you on that. No need to remove the dash components. The replacement bearing also needs to be put in with the notch on the collar in the right position. I had an easy time compared to this one on my '06 Duramax. That said, the replacement bearing I got from GM was a turd. It failed within 6 months even after replacing the intermediate shaft, the bearing, AND the collar that sits inside against the firewall, all at the same time. The bearing race separated from the housing and was worse than the original. I'd kept the original part and discovered that all I needed to do was remove the bearing race from the plastic part and re pack it with a decent quality grease. Reinstalled and it's better than ever. The new part available, even from GM, is complete junk.
ruclips.net/video/jzX3bnK_Lzc/видео.html I zip tied the plastic piece to the metal bracket and the noise stopped!!!
I REPLACED ALL THESE DID NOT FIX PROBLEM,SAME RATTLE,,,????
